From 6th-9th April Finnish, Estonian and Lithuanian teams meet again. This time in Joensuu, Finland. During the meeting the teams will share the results since October, observe break times, visit different schools and plan the activities for the rest of the year 1 and also for year 2.
As a result of our first meeting, the board of thoughts were created. These are A1 sized posters where post-its can be pasted so that these posters can be reused.
The examples of the posters can be seen here Estonian schools would like to put together the pocket game book that consist of games to play indoors and outdoors. Therefore the team started to collect the games from the parents and students to involve parents more to the project.
The template for the games was created and can be seen here Based on the games that are collected, the small game books are designed that are small enough to fit to the pockets of students. After the meeting in Estonia, Lithuania started with arranging the break times. They made the hopscotch field, twister playground, the hall in opened for the break time ball games. In the file you can see the activities they already have done.
During the meeting in Estonia, the schools agreed to send Christmas cards to each other. This turned out to be very popular and each teacher with their class made the cards and sent it to other schools. Even after Christmas some classes have remained sending the letters. So they have found their pen pals.
Finland started to put together the tool kit that the students can use during their outdoor break times. It includes different equipment that can be used during the breaks such as balls, frisbes etc. The members of the student council are responsible of lending the things out and they have made a borrowing card with the project logo on it to keep track.
