The project impact and the main results in Rantakylä koulu

In the beginning of the project and at the end of the project a survey was filled in by the school staff on the topic of break times, possibilities and opportunities for children being active during the school day. The results were compared and are presented here.

What else has changed:
  • Changes in the daily schedule: Every day one longer break...half an hour and depends of the school day ... 3 - 5   15minutes breaks.
  • Changes in the school yard planning and development: We will get a brand new huge new school yard by the end of October. Everything there will be new...plants, game areas, arena and lot of different activities. Our pupils and teachers has been part of the planning.

 

The parents involvement: 
  • Have let the families know about activity and health programmes at school
  • Included families and community members in the project activities
  • Provided activity and health programmes or workshops to students, families and school staff
